Welcome to the FUTURE…
Monday, September 1st, 2008of Turn Signals. It’s a new website that I almost built all by myself. Webmaster Larry contributed a great deal (mostly with his fists) constantly inspiring me (with painful punches) to do my best. And here it is. Many new features have been activated including COMMENTS, RSS Feed, and numerous space-age technologies that will keep you safe from alien mind control. (No guarantee implied about being safe from alien mind control.)
The donate-to-buy-dice store sham is now gone. The new WordPress store is available by clicking the button marked “dice” above. The donation button still lives, and it’s in there, if you feel so inclined. The new store is certainly not perfect but it seems to work. If you have problems just let me know. Also MORE new dice. I was going to unveil the FREEM dice in conjunction with this 5th anniversary extravaganza but the snafu involving the purple EPS dice forced me to disclose those early. A brilliant idea by the team of The Boy (my son) and Webmaster Larry led me to yet another custom dice set

that will only be available in lmited quantities. Each set of anniversary dice comes with an exclusive, printed, TSOALR comic (signed by me if that’s something significant to you) and a printed family portrait of Jack and the crew that the new comic logo is based on (but this one features Harkon, Cavendish, Krnk, Sister Mary, Sher-Eek, Roomby, Pig, and Onesie.)
Other significant stuff for today:
There should be recorded, and heavily edited, interview with me over at 40K Radio that posts today (assuming that Spencer, Philip, and their ever-suffering intern Scott have had time to edit out all of my swear words, coughing, retching, and general verbal abuse.) Also, the guys over at Bolter & Chainsword (long-time friends of the Empire) have reskinned their forum in my honor. Plus there’s a bonus B&C TSOALR comic in the B&C banner starring Kren, Frep, Jack and several B&C forum mods in full, astounding color. Plus there are two new shirts in the Stuff-Mart for your purchase enjoyment.
There is now an option to subscribe via RSS feed. I assume that works, but if it does not, let me know. Lot’s of work still left to do, lots of comics to draw, lots of dice to dream up…
Here’s to five more years!
EDIT: The reloading has begun. All comics should be availalble for reading by the end of the day. Also. there are more 5th edition limited dice in the store.
