First Valkyrie in TSOALR, but not for long, as it seems… Poor Harkon, though!

Why are you so obssesed with first comments?

@ lord commissar Oh its some weird internet phenomenon where people find it a privelege to be able to do the first comment for something, other than that i’ve ni idea

I’ve got the picture in my head of Harkon only realising there’s a valk barrel rolling towards him seconds before impact with the view remaining on the incoming valk as Harkon turns to run, with girly scream as standard :P

^^ Harkon is like me in a Chemistry test ^^

Imperial technik. They just don’t get that singing only fixes Eldar tanks.

Long time fan. Loving the current storyline and for the last week, TSoaLR has had me laughing out loud. Keep it up.

Harkon, astronaut, a man barely alive – we can rebuild him! Sounds like a chance for the six trillion credit space marine.

I’m reading TSOALR for the last two years and the last weeks I grinned, laughed and smiled more than ever!

Jack always make my day, but Harkon gets better and better! xD
Nice work and keep it comming!

The will rebuild him, they have the technology, they will make him faster, stronger, unfortunently not smarter ;)

Noooooooooooo, Duck Harkon while you still have a chance.

Duck? More like valkyrie. And anyway, it would be jump. Try ducking a valkyrie when it’s below ground level.

Na, I think Harkon can duck that, I have faith in Harkons ability to act like a Mole. :-)

@Karachna: So when an IG aerial transport is barrelling towards you, you don’t yell out “DUCK!” you yell out “VALK!”?

  17. Guardsman
    June 4th, 2009 at 8:27 am

@Terry O’Carroll: No,you scream out “Oh” before you are smashed to bits, all the while cursing the writers of the 5th edition Imperial Guard codex for imposing some form of fairness between the guard and other armies with ridiculously overpowered tanks. Also, when will TSOALR star a Deathstrike Missle Launcher?

Guardsman: If Jack’s body will ever be completed as a Terminus Ultra, on that instant it’ll find something even larger… Deathsrike Missile, right between the eye!

The new IG tanks are powerful, but VERY expensive. Certain Leman Russ variants can add up, by themselves, to more than a Land Raider. A full squadron of three of some variants is rediculously pricy and something you’d only take in apocalypse battles.

while a few tanks are good for the army, it’s probably better to have them as merely support for the infantry and artillery. Lots of heavy weapons, lots of cheap artillery. That’s the REAL worry of anyone who has really read the codex.

    Hey… I mentioned the deathstrike missiles first…

If it will be presented, I can imagine it’s countdown system as a jackpot machine… it works like that in the game anyway.
