that expalins why it didn’t overload when those 10 TL lascannons fired. heck, it can probably light up the entire fortress!

    July 3rd, 2009 at 1:20 am

thats not a reactor thats an entire power plant on wheels!!!

so do radioactive termies gain bonus’ to attack? ya know, from emitting all sorts of bad stuff(including weapons:p)

*Sits in dark in EPS fortress wondering where lights went*
I thought terminator suits protected you from radiation… but not THAT much radiation!

  5. Nash
    July 3rd, 2009 at 2:59 am

radioactive Termies get a bonus vomit attack (because of the radiation sickness)… But any model that wears its helmet sees that attack cancelled and suffers a “ugh gross!” hit instead (and thus we finally know why “vet models” go around without a helmet…) ^_^

Well, that renders the armour 14 pointless…

    July 3rd, 2009 at 5:32 am

Ooo boy. I can’t waith when some orkies (or Harkon) blow that thing up..

    July 3rd, 2009 at 6:22 am

Hey, but that’s an added bonus, not a drawback.

  9. Flatser
    July 3rd, 2009 at 7:16 am

Nuclear terminators, THE answer for disinfecting plague marines and their diseases!!!

SteveC86, what’s the point cost of a Repercussionator Land raider?

  10. General Premo
    July 3rd, 2009 at 7:21 am

    @ Flatser

    10 Lascannons…?

  11. Burlesque
    July 3rd, 2009 at 7:58 am

    @Flatser – I would guess somewhere close to the 1’500 pt range…?

So, any predictions as to how Frep, Kren & Harkon are going to screw up & blow the $#%&@ out of the Repercussionator when they try to use it in their first game?

So… a hit in the right place and it has 90D6 Damage with a Blastradius of 1000″?

  13. FutureCam

    Must….Resist….Temptation…

Time to shoot the *&%£*&^$$*”£$%£ out of everything within 12,000,000,000 inches.

Princep – “What the hell is that?”
Moderati – “I have no idea… it looks like lascannon fi-”
    UBER FREEM!

  18. Mashakosha
    July 3rd, 2009 at 2:24 pm

Did anyone else notice the Toy Story reference here? Or was that just me…

  19. Red91
    July 3rd, 2009 at 2:44 pm

i believe the name “fire magnet” just earned a new meaning.

  21. Luke_Prowler
    July 3rd, 2009 at 9:08 pm

You wouldn’t even have to fire that thing, because everyone in sight would have to take a save throw to not pee themselfs and run away screaming like a girl

“@Flatser, Burlesque – I would guess somewhere close to the 1′500 pt range…?”

well talking about points for this tank, i went on “age of strife” vechicle design rules…
    typed in the stats etc, space marine, tank, f14 s14 r14, 10x twin-linked lascannons….
and the total points come up to 695,

  23. legion4
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:30 pm

    Reoccuring mushroom cloud anybody?

  24. Iron Sid
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:50 pm

I’m thinking that they won’t even make it to the next game. Someone or something is going to happen that will take this story line off at a very obtuse angle.

  25. Izual
    July 3rd, 2009 at 10:55 pm

Question: what is the gas mileage?

“When expecting booby-traps, always send in the boob.”

  26. Lothcaramon
    July 4th, 2009 at 1:29 am

Wait a sec… don’t tell me Homer is in charge of the security of the trailer… Frem and company are very responsible in comparision

PD: and no, I haven’t seen the Toy Story reference. Would you mind explaining?

  27. The Biscuit Monster
    July 4th, 2009 at 6:28 am

lololol. You could attach anuddah trailer!

  28. Magzone
    July 4th, 2009 at 9:54 am

So, when is Frep going to get his head back? And why Kren did not fix that upside-down lascannon?

  29. Ducimax
    July 4th, 2009 at 2:47 pm

@Magzone: probably all the important systems run through that upside-down lascannon, so it can’t be replaced… just like the voice modulator of the Bonta Suit. (Full Metal Panic reference)

  30. Reedy
    July 5th, 2009 at 1:26 pm

what kind of dark eldar combat drugs was kren on when he mounted it on an UNCOVERED’ trailer….just say no dude…just say no…

  31. Gork
    July 5th, 2009 at 6:57 pm

Why not just shoot at the reactor… from far away… with a deathstrike missile or something…

  32. Flatser
    July 6th, 2009 at 4:34 am

@Magzone: Do you know how long it takes to fit 8 sets of twin-linked lascannons and to build a crystallic fusion reactor with just a McGyver kit and some “spare parts” of the Imperial guard?

@Bloodangelsdante: TY! I see the number fits. You must be Oldschool and/or Hardcore;)

  33. Jarush
    July 6th, 2009 at 1:42 pm

    Frep needs a new head!
