Out of the 1000 Space Marine chapters, which one is your favorite, and why?

does this include the traitor legions before they were a little miss guided? cause if it is id go for the thousand sons, but if i have to choose a "gooD" one id go for the iron hands.... then my own...

If I had to choose an already-made chapter, then I would choose either the Imperial Fists, or the Crimson Fists. If I can choose any, I'd choose my own. Go Ghost Fists!! (OK, maybe my chapter is an unofficial 11th company of the Crimson Fists, full of their MIA and/or presumed dead marines, but at least I created my own fluff and history!!)

I already said my favorite Loyalist chapters, my favorite Traitor legion would have to be the World Eaters. There's just something cool about a bunch of absolute maniacs screaming toward you, swinging chainaxes screaming "Kill! Maim! Burn! Kill! Maim! Burn!..BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!" *ahem* Sorry about that, but it had to be said...

MY favorite loyalist chapter is the Space Wolves because they remind me of berzerk viking werewolves

MY favorite traitor chapter is the world eaters for the same reason except replace the words viking werewolves, with merciless killing machines.

And speaking of World Eaters, I was playing a game of D&D with my friend and I decided to become a bard, because at the time I did not know they sucked. My friend said I worship F-something god of roads so my battlecry became: "ROADS FOR THE ROAD GOD!"

My favourite loyaist chapter would have to be the Flesh Tearers. i like the colors and the way that they fight.

As for tratior, its kinda obvious, isn't it?

Favourite Loyalist chapter, has to be the Blood Angels. I like the fluff to it, losing such a great man as your Primarch, and then going through life thirsting for revenge.

Favourite Chaos chapter, probably anyone that follows Khorn... Well, if I can't thirst for blood AND be an Imperial, then I will just take the one.

I'd say my personal favorite is the Soul Drinkers. A derivitive of the Imperial Fists chapeter (followed after the Crimson Fists and Black Templars), they are very similar to the templars in that they are a fleet based, ship to ship, boarding action, assualt army. Plus; I've read the books about them. Good stuff. And my chapter, the Reapers on High watch. My fluff is secret. Suffice to say, they came after the Scythes of the Emperor. Yayness. I love assualt armys, but play with shooty ones. Also, my favorite traitor legion is the Iron Warriors. Seige lords ahoy!

I'm going to have to go with the two chapters I have. Not because i'm biased towards them but because I love the paint schemes - that's why I chose them in the first place.

Loyalist: Marines Errant
Traitor (not strictly chaos): Lamentors

Of course, the lamentors can be used either as loyalists or as traitors and were historically both allies and enemies of the Marines errant depending on the period - which gives my marines a great deal of flexibility. (either as allies or as opponents they are historically accurate).

The lamentors were also historically destroyed just like my squats
