as extreamly happy as I am to see Cavendish again, I thought he was the game store owners

Tyranid Fodder: The reference I was going for was "Officer and a Gentleman" when Lou Gossett Jr., as the hard-as-nails Marine Drill Instructor, is giving the newbies a taste of things to come. If I inserted a "Full Metal Jacket" ref it was unintentional.

Temporary proxy I think... And why is everybody so anti-guard? If this was the 41st millennium everybody here, if in any army of Warhammer 40k, would be a guardsman! They have an awesome background and it's so cool with the "all kinds of heinous daemons and terrible aliens, and we're just humans holding the tide at bay" kind of thing!

Yeah, I dunno about you but I'd rather be a genetically enhanced superhuman holding back the tide than just a regular human.

Non of this genetically engineered rubbish, just lots of firepower!
Besides which, if it came down to it I think I would rather be a grunt with a las-cannon, and the ability to get laid once in a while, than a superhuman Techno Eunuch, with nothing else to do but kill and get killed.

woot! hell yeah! in my IG fluff, we rebel against SM, and whats with all this "scared of technology" crap if they have power armour, that all seems pretty much like extremely advanced technology to me...
