Ok im not creative enough to come up with whole chapters etc but i just wanted to get some opinions from guys with a sense of humour, and btw, apologies for the poor pics....

First up is my Wolfguard. He lost his arm to a Fenrisian Wolf and admired the beast so much for its strength that when he killed it he had the Iron Priests turn its head into a Master Crafted Powerfist. Much 'hand puppet mockery' has ensued since i started using him on the table.

And next up....with the current Fluff stating that the Orks are fighting the Nids, just what are all those Mek's gonna do with no Tanks to loot? Well heres my idea. Its an Ork Dreadnaught (fully game legal and yes i do use it in games) made out of a Carnifex :D

All comments and general mockery welcome.

Unfortunately no lol. Its hard to see but its the Regen head on the fex with a Metalic paint job on the skull section to give the impression of being rebuilt with armour.
Its basically an Orky rebuild, im still debating whether to do a Diorama with the Big Mek and the Mad Dok fighting to see who gets credit for it.

To run through....
- Jaw replaced with Ork Iron Gob
- Right Leg replaced with cut down Sentinel Leg
- 'UpperLeft ' arm replaced with Ork Dreadnaught arm (tyranid crushing claw still used but painted metallic)
- 'Lower Arms' were devourer arms with guns hacked off and replaced with dreadnauht Big Shoota's
- Back section left off and main body pieces cut to accomodate Deth Kopta cockpit. Carnifex 'shoulder plate' (the bit with spinebanks/spore cysts etc) pushed forward as protective screen.
- Scythe Tail replaced with Gorkamorka Cybork Arm.
- Sentinel Engine on back of Cockpit
- Assorted Tyranid/Ork armour plates/mechanical parts/Cables etc to finish the look.

With me it does tend to be less 'can i make it?' and more 'should it be made?'

As soon as i get an idea i break out the clippers...
like so....

...which is perfectly legal to Space Wolves though maybe a little Dangerous. Rocket Punch FTW!!!

I also have a Winged Hive Tyrant i converted out of a Fantasy Dragon and is now a flying serpent but because the primary colours are very dark its hard to get a decent pic. Ill see what i can do.

If those are Cyclonic Missile Launchers, it is legal.

Debatedly.

Personally, I have this thing called "Common sense", and that means that Terminator Assautl Squads -don't- have missiles.

It's just rule bending cheese IMHO.

Its not rule bending at all.
Space Wolves do not have Terminator Squads of either type available to them. What they do have is the ability to give a Charachter a bodyguard of Vet Sargeants with access to Terminator armour. Then on top of that you have allowances for heavy weapons (1 HW per 3 models in the bodyguard)

So you assemble a bodyguard of 4 Men and give them all Lightning claws which, although looks like an assault squad it still isnt and still allows for 2 heavy weapons. Now you can either lose one of the claws and go for an Assault Cannon or just keep both claws and stick on a Cyclone Launcher.

Theres no Rule bending of any description there.

But for a moment there I thought I could give my Assualt Terminators missles
That would be scary ish
(SO when they deep strike I could do some thing with meaning)

Yes, but when people start doing it with Dark Angels, and Blood Angels, then it's rule bending.

So I take it you avoid Eldar players?

But when you see a picture of it in the codex you tend to think its legal

Of course I avoid eldar players. They're cheating cheesy goits.

Why play to win, I ask? Why not play, to enjoy yourself? Or is that such a farfetched concept?

Gragggh.

playing for enjoyment? what heresy is this!
But seriously, If I played to win I would have less fun because it would rule out tactics such as "the all militia army" and "zerg rush the heavy bolters"
Also, terminator is the awesome.
