aum, try having a wide body of the tank so it looks more stable. also maybe make the turret larger with a wider shorter barrel. so look at a basalisk and try make that into a predator look. and with the side sponsors, have them more stockyer and stable looking (the whole idea haha)

Honestly, I think the new games are really fun. The extra addons are cool, but when you really use them right they don't interfere. Playing without objectives for a 7000pt kill-fest is also great fun. It's good for a sunday when you have nowhere else to be for the next four hours.

I think Apocalypse would have been a great idea had they lowered their prices a bit. This is mainly why I hardly collect regular models anymore let alone the big stuff. I just want converted special models anyways, I'm not too into making an army. I wouldn't be able to agree on a single color scheme for starters. But good luck to anyone who plans on buying Apocalypse!

i thought this topic ended awhile ago... anyways i suppose if you really like converting or scratch building stuff you could make like a titan or something like that.

I saw an article about someone who made a 40k-scale Warhound Titan. It was green and it looked awesome, but it took nearly a year to make. And needed what must have been expensive equipment, not to mention skills I don't really have ><

Plasticard's a good thing to use. If you're making a gargant get some cardboard and take off the outer layer, it makes for a great corigated iron look which is great for orks! As for a warhound titan... i suppose bits from other imperial vehicles could be used? ^^'

Have you tried making ANYTHING out of greenstuff!? It's nearly IMPOSSIBLE. I tried to make a square ammo box for my assault cannon and it just FAILED.

Conversion is fine, construction is hard.

i have once, i tried adding nid arms to orks because i love swarm armies and the one arm i made looked like a green burrito
