I push for more guardsmen, like the telephone pole gag. That or a real strip about a traitor guard. Think about it

Guardsman 1- Hey, how come a bolter is deadlyer than a laser? After all, a laser is a highly focused beam of light! A bolter shell- gets shot

Guardsman 2- Is used by the bs4 space marines

lasguns are just corperal light. it's kind of like the sun thru a magnifying glass. There's nothing really "lasery" about it.

plus bolter rounds explode

Valid point UMD. However, according to the "Uplifting primer" 'nids are scared of flashing lights. Lasers are the only way forward...

I sense a disturbance in the force, as if the IG are nothing but worthless sacks of flesh, when in fact they are the first and last line of defense against humanities foes. The Space Marines are few in number, and the Inquisition kills all. The Imperial Guard are truly the best and heroic soldiers the Empi- Imperium has to offer. Their the first, last and only defence against the worst scum of the Universe.
