then, get ready for this,
HE THREW MY CARNIFEX AGAINST THE WALL AND BROKE IT.
luckily, i hadn't painted it yet but it was still hard to put together (first big plastic kit i ever built)
So the kid buys me a new carnifex and is the banned from store.
How did you save the wounds? Both lightening claws and thunder hammers ignore armour saves, and 'fexes can't get invulnerable saves, so how did you save 3? o.O
At the club I go to, the owners have two sons. One I don't know much about, but the other is a cheating, lying prick (he also incidentally plays Black Templars >.>) I think this guy made one of the younger ones cry at one point.
But anyway, allow me to continue with my story.
Or start it at least.
It's two years ago, and the club is running its first tournament. I've gotten through into the second round, and am about to fight the guy mentioned earlier. The first turn took an hour. I swear, I moved a guy 6", and he'd tell me it was too far and I was forced to move him back a little. I fired a weapon and he'd check the rulebook to make sure what I was doing was absolutely spot on with the rules. I knew it was, by then, because I'd been playing for two years by that point. When I blew up his land raider, with a glancing hit (on a 6) he told me he didn't see the dice roll, and made me re-roll it.
We only had three hours to play the game, so we never got it finished. I won on victory points.
My friend had been watching me a lot when I was playing against that guy. He said he'd never seen anyone with more of a murderous look in his eyes. Ever.
The only thing that stopped me gouging out that guy's eyeballs with a blunt stick was the fact his dad was also having to come over every five seconds to sort out
another rules debate.
I've never played him again since.
